Neftali Gonzalez Family Memorial

Neftali Gonzalez passed away the night of 3/26/2020.  Neftali graduated from OHS in 2015 and was 24 years old.  He was born on July 6, 1995 and had a long history of medical struggles.  He suffered from muscular dystrophy which led to many health battles. He has been in a wheelchair since he was 10, had a heart condition, and was fed by a feeding tube.  He often had struggles sleeping because he worried that he would die in his sleep. He also suffered from anxiety and depression.  

Despite his worries, Neftali liked to draw.  He loved spending time with his brother Jovani.  They were very close and talked all the time. They enjoyed playing video games and watching movies together.  

Neftali is survived by his parents Aristeo and Zenaida Gonzalez and his 6 siblings: Aristeo, Sis, Jovani, Anabel, Rebeca, and Alberto.  Currently Aristeo attends Lutacaga, while Sis and Jovani attend OHS.

The Gonzalez Family will be in charge of the final expenses for his funeral and memorial and would greatly appreciate your donations during this difficult time.


Neftali González falleció la noche del 03/26/2020. Neftali se graduó de la escuela preparatoria de Othello en 2015 y tenía 24 años. Nació el 6 de julio de 1995 y tenía una larga historia de luchas médicas. Sufría de distrofia muscular que condujo a muchas batallas de salud. Él ha estado en una silla de ruedas desde que tenía 10 años, tenía una condicion cardíaca y fue alimentado por una sonda de alimentación. A menudo tenía problemas para dormir porque le preocupaba que muriera mientras dormía. También sufría de ansiedad y depresión.

A pesar de sus preocupaciones, a Neftali le gustaba dibujar. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su hermano Jovani. Estaban muy unidos y hablaban todo el tiempo. Disfrutaron jugando videojuegos y viendo películas juntos.

A Neftali le sobreviven sus padres Aristeo y Zenaida González y sus 6 hermanos: Aristeo, Sis, Jovani, Anabel, Rebeca y Alberto. Actualmente Aristeo asiste a Lutacaga, mientras que Sis y Jovani asisten a la escuela preparatoria de Othello.

La familia González se encargará de los gastos funebres y se agradecerían mucho su donacion durante este tiempo dificil.
