Hi, my name is Amanda Corns, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has faced. My mother has been bravely battling rectal, lung and lymph node cancer for the past two years, and we’ve just received heartbreaking news: She now has two masses on her brain. They are on her anterior left frontal lobe, which is 4 1/2 cm, and one in her left cerebellar hemisphere, which is 2 1/2 cm. This devastating development has left her unable to work and not supposed to drive. She’s always been the one to care for others — strong, giving, and full of love — and now she needs our help more than ever. The costs of basic living expenses will pile up.
