Hi, I'm Crystal Hoang, the executive chef of Scout Oakhurst, and I'm fundraising for a family in need. It's with a heavy heart, I pass the news of our tragic loss in the Scout Family. Neesha English was Big Mike's (my kitchen manager) wife and mother of their 7 year old boy, Mike. This was highly unexpected and will undoubtably change their lives forever. Neesha was loving, kind and taken too soon. While she leaves behind her husband and child, she also leaves behind all the good she brought into all of our lives.

As many of you know, Big Mike, has more years in the kitchen of Scout than any other person. He's an integral part of our family and this community. He's a pillar of light and laughter to me personally and it breaks my heart to know he is going through this.

What many of you don't know is that Mike is a large reason we opened up for Happy Tuesdays which became so popular we had to open the whole menu up. Mike is also another reason I chose to return to Scout. Mike is usually the person making sure you're Double Mason is cheesy and delicious. In all the space provided, I could never express how much he actually does around here- for all of us.

I'd love to see this community take care of him the way he has taken care us. Please, everyone, pull together and help give him and his son a slight relief. Help us let him know it's going to be alright, that we have his back, and that they are not alone.

Anything that could help with the funeral costs and their future would be greatly appreciated.
