Our little Neemo has been diagnosed with cancer and requires surgery to remove a mast cell tumor and chemo treatments.

Neemo James is a 4-year-old Havanese mix who was rescued almost 2 years ago. He had been listed as fearful aggressive by the shelter and exhibited signs of possible past abuse. Neemo has graduated from basic obedience class and makes friends during our frequent outings. It has been amazing watching his transformation into the loving and gentle dog he is today.

Neemo was diagnosed with cancer in March 2025 and is scheduled to have surgery at BluePearl Fort Myers. There may be ongoing treatments post-surgery, including chemo or additional surgery as needed and we will post updates as we have them. For full transparency- the pre-op visits were $3497.96 and surgery is estimated to be between $4,850-5,550 with no estimates on after surgery needs yet. We have set this fundraiser to help pay for the surgery and chemo treatments for $6,000 and GoFundMe auto-shows the requested amount in incremental phases.
