A misogi is a Shinto ritual of cleansing and purification, you might be wondering what that has to do with any of this; nothing at all, but the way I see a misogi is something so immensely difficult and out of my comfort zone that I only have a maximum 50% chance of succeeding in.

My misogi is running the Big Half (Sunday September 7) with 20KG strapped onto my body in under 02:30:00.

I'm doing this for Prostate Cancer UK, but as you can tell it says #1, if my tendons and ligaments survive this ordeal (the most difficult thing I've physically done in my life thus far), I will continue to do things that put my life on the line for other charities.
