Aloha,
I am extremely proud to announce that I have been accepted to
MIT's prestigious Sports Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
MIT Bootcamp
As a former dancer whose post-secondary education was led online, while working full-time, I am very excited to take part in an intensive training, led by education leaders and business experts in a classroom setting.
MIT Bootcamps are intense week-long leadership programs that challenge participants to develop a sustainable new venture in a week.
Innovators come from around the world to learn from MIT faculty
and MIT-trained coaches.
Bootcampers learn the same innovation framework and curriculum taught in core entrepreneurship classes at MIT, and practice critical skills required to be leaders and drive innovation and
collaboration.
Admission to the program is highly selective and my profile was retained.
I am now in the process of raising the funds necessary to cover Tuition ($8500 USD), Airfare ($1500 USD) and Accommodations ($500 USD). I will be funding a portion of costs myself. I will also be applying for a partial scholarship.
Final registration has begun and I will need to act fast to secure my spot. The program starts Sep 7, and I will be raising money from now until mid-August.
As someone who, up until now, has had mainly unconventional on-the-job experience to grow as a professional, I relish the chance to be led through an academic process by a dynamic team of leaders.
It will be an incredible adventure
