My name is Myra Montemayor, and I’m writing on behalf of the Williams family.

A few weeks ago, Ana and her husband, Tony, traveled to the Philippines to visit family and celebrate their wedding anniversary. It was Tony’s first time there, and according to Ana, they had an amazing time making wonderful memories.

On November 6, just a few days before their return home to the U.S., Tony suffered a seizure. Despite every effort to resuscitate him, he passed away unexpectedly.

Those who are close to Ana and Tony know that this past year has been filled with hardship. Both of their businesses were forced to close, and earlier in the year, Tony was hospitalized while on a trip to Atlanta after experiencing multiple seizures and being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition that led to serious complications. Once back in California, Tony slowly recovered and things finally began looking brighter. The trip to the Philippines was meant to be a much-deserved celebration of their 20th wedding anniversary.

I’m reaching out, with Ana’s permission, to ask for your prayers, love, and support during this unimaginably difficult time. Ana has very limited resources and is now facing the tremendous emotional and financial challenge of bringing Tony back home.
