Hi, my name is Kerri and on the morning of Tuesday 13th June I suffered a devastating house fire due to an electrical fault in my kitchen. Thanks to the heroic work of our local Fire Brigade our home still stands, however the heavy smoke, soot and water damage has resulted in a total write-off of all our contents. I am extremely thankful we had contents insurance however due to the severity of the damage internally and the home deemed unlivable it is looking like our costs will exceed that.

I am a widowed mother to two daughters, and work full-time. I am not usually one to ask for help but as the days go on it is sinking in how much we have lost, and we have had so many wonderful people asking how they can help or contribute.

This GoFundMe has been started to help with any restoration and recovery expenses not covered by insurance. It will also be used to assist with any other immediate needs such as food and clothing as we rebuild our home and life. Any donation is sincerely appreciated, no matter the amount, and will make a major difference to our lives as we recover.
