Help Me Train a New Service Dog After Losing My Lifeline

Donation protected
Losing my service dog changed my life in ways I’m still trying to
understand.

She wasn’t just a companion. She was the quiet support that helped me
move through the world when PTSD, anxiety, paranoia, and depression made
even simple moments feel overwhelming. When things became too loud in my
mind or the world felt unsafe, she was there to ground me and bring me
back to calm. Since losing her, life has felt heavier and much more
uncertain. The sense of safety and stability she helped create is suddenly gone,
and everyday situations that once felt manageable now take much more
strength.

I’m trying to take the next step toward healing by finding and training
another dog who can become that same kind of support in my life. A
service dog is more than companionship for me. It's a bridge back to
independence and a way to feel safe in the world again. The journey to
train and care for a service dog is something I can’t manage alone, which is why
I’m reaching out for help. Asking for support isn’t easy, but rebuilding that
lifeline means everything right now.

Every bit of kindness, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page,
brings me closer to having that support beside me again. Thank you for
taking the time to read my story and for being part of this step toward
healing.
