Covid -19 and the resulting lock down in India has impacted the textile industry in India.  Workers are left without pay and are unable to sustain the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter.

The funds being raised will be provided to the workers in factories across the country. These embroiders work tirelessly day and night to meet the demands of our designers and labels.

They are in immediate need of help.   Every day of the lock down takes away their daily wages and directly their food and shelter - basic human rights.

I have personally known many of these workers and their families through the years.  I admire the diligence, honesty and dignity with which they continue to work day in and day out.  

All donations are important and appreciated as it would provide them with basic sustenance which we all take for granted
