My wife is going through some serious health issues right now, and we're needing help catching up on our bills, and to help pay for more treatments so we can figure out what's going on. She's been in the ER 5 times in 48 hours, and transferred to the hospital twice. The doctors haven't been able to find the cause of what's happening in her body. I've had to miss a lot of work and cut back my hours so I can be able to take her to the hospital and take care of her, and take care of our son. Any amount would help us, even if it's small - it helps pay for at least gas to get us to her appointments. She has been denied medicaid twice this year, and now with the shut down, she won't be getting benefits for who knows how long. Our next step is applying for emergency financial aid, but we simply don't have the time to wait for her medical expenses to be covered.
