Needing help to meet deductible from house fire

Hey guys my name is Tyler Robinson, I’m currently an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and work for a very rural county 911 service. I served 6 years as a 0331 Machine Gunner in the Marine Corps Reserves and deployed to Iraq in 2009. I then joined the Active Duty Coast and worked as a Avionics Electrical Technician on C-130J’s until 2018.

My wife Shay and I met on the ambulance in 2011. She continued to work in the Medical field throughout my time in the Coast Guard. She has some pretty severe Crohn’s Disease which forces her to stay in bed 75% of the time .Her Crohns sysmptoms began in 2017 and have been fighting it every single day since. Just in January of this year she was at 93 pounds because it hurt her to eat.

I’m telling you all of this because our bedroom caught fire on October 9th and we lost everything in that was in that room and making that house uninhabitable.Thankfully Shay and Lincoln were not in the house when it started, instead they were right outside the house. Ghost was also outside , but Burt and Baxter( our puppies) were still in the house . Shay went into our burning home to attempt to find our geriatric dogs before the fire spread. She was unsuccessful, but the firefighters were able to locate them behind the couch and they were shaken up but again thankfully ok.

We are currently in a hotel for the next 3 months at least with our 2 1/2year old. All of her toys and clothes were covered in smoke and smell like cancer and poison.

I’m not proud of starting this Gofundme, but This a single income house hold and honestly if we didn’t have this beautiful little baby I wouldn’t do it. We are trying to meet our deductible for insurance and to top it off yesterday our transmission in our in our family vehicle …. When it rains it pours at the Robinson’s.
