Needing help for unexpected expenses

Our sweet mother, Mimi, Mother in Law, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend,  left us Christmas Eve to join God and Jessica! We will inform you all of servicetimes as soon as they are set!  In the meantime Jason and I will be working on adopting Nick to male sure he stays with us!

, my name is Jennifer Carnal. My husband, Jason, and I together have 3 wonderful children. Jason's mother, Dena Carnal, is a beautiful soul known by many in our community. She has spent her life as a nurse caring for others. Five years ago she lost her daughter and has been raising her now 12 year old grandson, Nick, on her own. Nick is a sweet, caring young man who also happens to be diabetic and autistic. Dena contracted covid on 12/11/2021. She stayed home and qualified, but ran a fever of 102° to 104° for a week straight. On Sunday, the 19th Nick called me to say he couldn't wake her. Jason went over and upon finding her unresponsive, called 911. I had my son go pick up Nick and Bring him to our home. It has been a long few weeks already with us missing alot of work, both because Dena has been our trusted sitter, and now with Nick here as well, and Dena in the icu we have been with the kids awaiting updates. We were told at 1st that she was remaining unresponsive and had low oxygen saturation, so they sedated her and put her in the ICU. They have her on a ventilator and 2 chest tubes. We were also told shes septic. Over the last couple days it seemed they had good news and we were positive. Everything changed this morning. They said all their treatments have failed. And following her DNR wishes they are taking her off the vent today and stopping all her meds. We will be taking Nick on full time. And any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
