Hi, My name is Sarah.

A little over a year ago, a variety of combining factors lead me to a mental breakdown. I am currently unable to work and have some minor difficulties paying my bills due to CPTSD from all of it, or Complex Post Traumatic Stress disorder.

My province, New Brunswick Canada, is really not an environment that is a good place for recovering from this type of stuff (ask me on any social media site, i can give you essays explaining why), on top of that i am currently living in the house i grew up in which is really has a lot of bitter memories that i would rather forget that also make recovery extremely difficult.

The only family member I could realistically call on for assistance would be my father, as my mother passed away three years ago, and he is adament that if i want his help I would need to go through conversion therapy (something that is fairly inhumane and ottawa has been talking about outlawing), it took me 28 years to become comfortable with my own gender identity, and id like to reach a place away from him where I dont have to fear him where I can truly embrace that and go through the process of truly becoming fully comfortable within my own body.

Voice Dysphoria is currently too strong to really try the indepth video editing of the youtube videos i thought id try and make as an income source to help get me out of this province to a place i can feel safe and truly recover.

All money raised in this fundraiser I will put towards trying to get out of this province, or at the very least to a different house/town that doesnt have the memories and emotional baggage so i can start trying to recover from this trauma, with any extra being put toward treatments and medication so i can fully and completely embrace and feel comfortable with my gender identity.

I understand that I am just a random person on the internet, and that there are much more deserving and important causes on this platform, but any money you would be willing to donate would help me immensely towards helping me get my life back on track.
