Workers comp sucks

Hello my name is Ian and I’m fundraising because 12 months ago I was in a horrible work accident that could have cost me my life but fortunately it’s only cost me some of my left arm. I’m not one to ask for help much, but I’ve lost a lot of use out of my left arm and hand do to slipping falling and cutting halfway through my arm across my bicep elbow and forearm… to the bone 12 inches long. I have nerve damage in my elbow which affects my elbow , forearm, wrist and hand and am in pain every day whether I use my arm or don’t. Now 12 months later and fighting workers comp and my ex employers insurance I’ve slowly received medical care for my injury and have now been laid off because of current restrictions (no upper left extremity)and my injury. I was also diagnosed with ptsd from my accident and am fighting to get in to a psychiatrist for help which has greatly impacted my family, wife, and 3 small children. I have no source of income and over the last 12 months have spent our savings as my attorney and myself battle with the workers comp insurance to get proper care and wait for the system to play out and I see some type of resolution.
