Need For Surgery

Hello, friends! Thanks to all who are taking the time to read our story. We are here due to a current need for a surgical procedure for myself at this time. About a year ago, we became aware of an odd growing lump on my neck. At first, we thought it was a strained muscle, and didn't worry too much about it. As months went by, it grew and became concerning enough we consulted an ENT dr to see what was going on. After obtaining a CT scan and follow up with the ENT, it was discovered to be a branchial cleft cyst, considered to be very rare for adults. Unfortunately for us, the ENT we consulted was no longer in practice for removal of these and we had to be referred to an ENT surgeon. So just a short few months later we did so. Alarmingly, in that short time the cyst has nearly tripled in size, and has gone from being uncomfortable and annoying to increaseingly more painful. It's pressing heavily against the muscle and jugular vein on the right side of my neck as well as pressing against my throat. My husband and I have done what we could to consider all our options in the last year preparing for this and have been left without much choice than to try a GoFundMe at this time to try and afford the surgery, taking into consideration that it's continuing to grow at an alarming rate. Since we have not yet met the deductible on our insurance we're stuck with having to pay out of pocket without available funds. As some may know, I've been fighting for a number of years for disability due to a number of chronic health problems and have had no income for several years now. It is expected to drag on at least another year without knowing the outcome. Times are critical, as we know, and if you're unable to donate to help with this surgery we understand.
