Before I begin telling my story of how I became this desperate, I want everyone to know that I would not be doing this, if it wasn't for the fact that my situation is as bad as it is. I know there are lots of other worthy causes, so I thank you for taking the time to read this and consider helping me and my family. Here goes...
I currently have advanced liver disease, chronic pancreatitis with acute flare ups, as well. Those are my two largest problems, as I am in need of a liver transplant but due to reasons that would take hours to explain, I currently cannot receive one. Every single day I have intense pain and/or nausea and vomiting, fever, chills, hot/cold flashes, dehydration, exhaustion, and the list goes on...The combination of these two diseases alone are utterly miserable and unpredictable, as they come and go whenever they please. I have exhausted all my available medical resources, here, as my insurance won't cover any out of state treatment.
To make matters worse, I also deal with long-term, daily, severe depression and every type of anxiety disorders (ie: PTSD, OCD, GAD, Panic attacks, etc.) I also have endometriosis and Esophagitis. I'm also trying to ween off of certain medications.
All of this ends up to feeling horrendous every, single day, in some form or another. All of these afflictions, also, make me unable to work and very unreliable, as I never know when one of these things is going to ruin my ability to do much of anything.
Unfortunately, as kind as my family has been in financially and physically helping me out while I battle these illnesses, we are ALL tapped out monetarily. I will continue my search for public assistance but I just keep getting nowhere, for one reason or another. I literally spend most of my time trying to find alternatives but, at this point, I'm running out of time. I've literally sold every single asset, and anything that has any kind of financial value, of mine. I currently have $10 to my name.
Therefore, I humbly (and embarrassingly) ask that you consider donating, as it's a very real possibility that I could be homeless in a month or two. Thus, I figured the amount I'm attempting to raise would get me by until I can figure something out and get back on my feet.
