17 year old Andre Hofland whom many of you knew from Kenmore and Marysville was recently shot in his Marysville neighborhood and passed away at an Everett Hospital on the evening of Tuesday January 5th. Andre was a wonderful Son, Brother and Best Friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his Mother, Father, Sister, and Many Others whose lives were forever better just by having Andre in them.

Andre loved to skate.  While living in Kenmore, he could be found any time of day at the Skate Park hanging with his friends.  When moving to Marysville and unsure about meeting new people, many of his friends would visit frequently to Skate, Listen to Music or just hang at his house. Andres parents always greeted everyone with open arms and smiles on their faces.

We are all devastated by the loss of our Beloved Friend and as anyone can imagine the high cost of funeral preparations and other fees can be overwhelming. We want to give the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the family’s costs. We would like to raise $10,000.00 by Thursday January 14th in order to be able to deliver the funds to his family in the trying time.
