Kaya's Hope: hopeful surgery updates
Donation protected
Dear All,
I want to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your contributions, resolute support, and kind words mean the world to me.
As some of you may already know, my surgery last year unfortunately didn’t go as planned. I encountered complications, and today, I find myself facing another uphill battle. I have to undergo another procedure to replace the prosthesis on my lower back, which means another year of fighting and recovery lies ahead. The silver lining in this situation is that we have the means to address it.
My new neurosurgeon has given me hope, assuring me that by the end of this year, I’ll have my life back, free from the excruciating pain I’ve endured for far too long.
I’ve always had a passion for my work in the beauty industry, and when this adversity struck, I not only lost a part of my health but also some loved ones who didn’t understand my struggle. They believed I didn’t want to recover, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I cherish life and my career, but depression and PTSD have taken their toll on my daily existence. I’m doing everything in my power to get better, fortunate to have France’s healthcare system supporting me.
I yearn to reclaim my life, and I’m confident that with time, I’ll rise stronger than ever.
This page has reconnected me with people I haven’t seen in years, and your outpouring of assistance has been overwhelming. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The fight is far from over, and I haven’t yet reached my target. That’s why I’ll continue to provide updates, keeping the flame of hope alive.
I implore you to share my story far and wide; every euro makes a difference beyond imagination.
I’ll keep you updated, and there’s exciting news: my dad may come to France for the surgery in February, thanks to your support!
Expect more updates as I embark on this journey. Some weight may be lost, medications might affect my appetite, but it’s all part of the process.
I’m relieved to know that I’ll soon be on the path to recovery, and that’s what truly matters.
Sending all of you an abundance of love,
Kaya ❤️
