Hello!
I've been living with my grandfather for the past 2 years, first to watch my grandmother (who passed a little over a year ago) and so that he could support me while I had time to take care of my mental health and get on my feet. I was planning on going back to school this upcoming semester, but 3 weeks ago today my grandfather was diagnosed with late stage liver cancer.
Over the past few weeks he has had a very sharp decline, he was taken to the hospital a week ago after extreme pain in his neck to find that he had broken his C2 vertebrae after a fall caused by nausea from the cancer. It was also found that the cancer had spread through his entire body, and today he had a seizure, presumably from cancer that had reached his brain. He is not expected to live much longer after today.
All of this is to say that, while I have been working to make what money I can, I cannot fully support myself while I am helping with setting up the funeral and making plans to move out; I have bills, appointments, medicine, groceries, etc while I am in this position, so any help is appreciated. It would be a huge relief that would allow me to comfortably help my family and myself through such a sudden change.
I appreciate everyone supporting me emotionally and financially, it genuinely means a lot.
