Hi guys, it's hard for me to ask, but I need help with my medical expenses. My thyroid health has been slowly declining for the past year, affecting every function of my body, including my brain, joints, and energy levels. It's becoming more difficult to work and, most importantly, parent. Last week I just crashed, barely able to function.
The NHS don't do most of the tests I need and have only 1 type of treatment available, which isn't really the best - Levothyroxine, the synthetic thyroid hormone.
I won't bore you with how this intricate but very powerful mechanism works - happy to share if you are interested, as I've been educating myself.
One very dear friend funded my initial visit to a wonderful endocrinologist+functional doctor I found and the 1st batch of tests, but there are more that I need to take, totalling just above £1k. I'd be eternally grateful for any help you can give.
Thank you so much for reading.
