My name is Karen Daugherty and I am starting this GoFundMe because on July 28, 2022 my family and I lost everything we had due to the massive flood that came and almost wiped our little community off the map. Today is 22 days we have been in a shelter/church located in Hazard, KY. bc we have no home or nowhere to go anymore. The structure is still there but its unrepairable. We also lost both of our vehicles in this flood. We have been thru so much in the last 18 months (losing our home on Jan. 6, 2020 to house fire & now this) its almost unbearable but with Gods help we will come thru this. School is getting ready to start back and i will have a senior and a 7th grader and we need somewhere we can call home. The money raised here will go directly to us and will be used to get out of the shelter and into something else more permanant. If anyone at all can help us, big or small, its very much appreciated. Please keep us in your prayers that God will make a way for us because I know there are reasons for everything..

UPDATE: Just Found Out that we have to be OUT of this shelter/church by this Thursday which is 8/25/2022, they are closing it down..so without help theres nowhere for us to turn unless God moves, all i know to do is to Pray..Please if Yall Can, Help Us..
