On March 6, 2025, I was provided a 30 day demand for rent in the amount of $2008 by SCHA, my landlord. This notice I found taped to my door when I arrived home that day.

The 30 days expire on Saturday.

I do not know how the number $2008 was arrived at, as there was no breakdown of the costs or amounts to indicate how it was calculated and I have not received a bill or statement from SCHA since November.

Some have asked me why I do not try to go through local agencies for assistance. I have been advised that I make too much for these agencies to assist me.

I do not want to be evicted.

I decided that I would attempt a gofundme.

One may notice the amount is $6000.

This is the $2008.

Plus April and May rent, as, should I move, my landlord wants a 30-day notice.

Plus an amount that would cover what a new residence would expect me to pay up front.

This $6000 also would en total cover such costs should I be evicted.

Which, again, I do not want.
