Hello! A little over a month ago, I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. TC has the highest survival rate out of any cancer, so it's nothing life-threatening.

On August 1st, I underwent surgery to remove the tumor. We were hoping the surgery would be the end of it, but based on the biopsy I decided to undergo one round of Chemotherapy starting September 9th.

I have a great support system and have been trying to stay centered and grateful. However, because I am an independent contractor, I am not eligible for sick leave or disability. The work that I do requires lifting and drumming, so I am finding myself losing a lot of money throughout this process.

I would really like to focus on facing the Chemo and recovering and not have to worry about my rent for the next couple of months. Any help at all would be incredibly appreciated.
