Need help with rare disease chemo medical bills

Hi, My name is Sol. I started my battle with a rare disease called Psuedomyxoma peritonei in2016. It’s an appendicial (appendix) cancer that has tumors that are recurring therefore I am on chemotherapy for the rest of my life.

My first major surgery was to remove a 20 pound tumor in 2016 when it was first discovered. My 2nd major surgery was in 2019 which almost took my life and after this they decided to start me on chemotherapy and I have been on chemo since.

A few weeks ago a ct scan showed I have 2 new tumors growing and they started me on a new chemo cocktail. Furthermore I am going back to Seattle, 4 hours drive away, to see a surgeon to discuss another Hi-pec treatment which means they open me up yet again.

Update:  The Doctor said that I am stage 4 cancer as my high grade tumors have spread to my small intestines and it will be difficult to remove all the tumors in order for the HIPEC treatment to be successful.  Continued chemo is recommended and with the new chemo my cancer markers going from 33 to 20 it’s a good sign the new chemo cocktail is working.  He said that my positive outlook will help my healing and longevity be successful.  At this point my mortality projection is short but with the success of chemo treatment that can be extended.

I continue to live my life to its fullest, see the silver lining in all things and keeping a positive attitude. Life is too short to live in misery.  Happiness is everything.

My spouse was working a very well paying job on a fishing boat in Alaska but has since had to stop so she can stay home to take care of me. This is the reason we now need help.
