This fundraiser is to help my brother Anthony. He's been maintaining his own business since about 1998, but he's uninsured because, even with subsidies, the huge premiums at the healthcare marketplace are unaffordable, and the state of Texas won't expand its Medicaid program which he qualifies for. He's been living with extremely severe nasal polyps due to the lack of insurance, and the visible polyps are large and completely fill his now horribly swollen nose. They're causing endless torment, pain, and suffering for him. They've wrecked his sinuses, and are so large, they have to be surgically removed. The ENT surgeon warned that the polyps could cause severe damage to his lungs, as well as his hearing, and cause other problems. Being a disabled gulf war veteran, I'm not able to help him at this time, because of limited resources. Our hope is to raise $20,000 for Anthony's surgery, but we would be grateful for any contribution, or any assistance sharing this campaign.
