Hi, my name is Lisa and my husband of 32 years had back surgery late December. The surgeons went in through his stomach and a few days later through the back. He was supposed to wear this brace every day after surgery to help him. However, this brace opened up his front incisions after the 30 staples were removed and he now has a deep hole in his stomach that is taking its sweet time to heal. He still can't sit up too long or stand too long. He is a mortgage loan officer and we thought that the mortgage industry would be back by now but with interest rates this high and home values also high, he is not getting any new buyer/borrowers. I help with caregiving one person, but it is only once or twice a week for a couple of hours. I have tried to get a full-time job only to get, "thank you but we went with someone else", responses. We are now behind in our mortgage and car payments and I might lose my car. Our doctor's appointments are about 30-34 miles away and we need my car. I have a deadline to catch up or it will be repossessed. Please help us if you can. We are embarrassed to ask but we have no other choice for now. Thank you so much.
