Evicted, in a new place, waiting for disability

As my life continues to unravel through the mess that is the current state of the US here is what the past year has been like for me.  At the end of 2019 my Mother who I moved in with so we could help each other with bills had a stroke making her unable to work.  Around the same time my medical problems became so bad that we both applied for disability at the same time.  My mother is currently living with her sister as I was unable to care for her but neither of us have yet to have our disabilities be finalized after almost 18 months.

Then covid hit and the minor bit of freelance work I was still able to do with my medical problems dried up.  But there was still my partner and our roommate, an old friend of mine from high school and college, able to help cover bills and rent.  Then my roommate left us high and dry with almost no warning and not long after we learned he had lied to us about why he was in prison and he was on the SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY.  This was a shocking blow to us because another roommate of ours who had moved out the year before, as well as my partner and myself, were all survivors of sexual assault and he hadn’t informed any of us of this.  I have also learned recently this was why the other roommate moved out cause they opened the door one day for the roommates parole officer.  All of us had the same view, if he had told us if he was wrongly on there we wouldn't have had a problem but he lied to us about that so yeah.

We were still doing fine until June of last year when my mother, now having the impulse control of a child due to the stroke, closed our joint bank account after there was a hacking problem at the bank.  Unfortunately she did that while all my money was in the account and it took until August for the check with all my money that she and my aunt sent back to me… well for half of it, the other half didn’t arrive until september.

This caused the mobile home park I live in to stack on late fees to the rent as we were unable to pay from july through september as they have this bull rule that you have to pay it all at once and can’t do smaller payments.  Remember this for later.

Then the series of unfortunate events started.

At the beginning of November I damaged the Plantar Fascia in my left foot and had to pay for medical things that drained some of our money so we weren’t able to cover our rent that month.

Then someone tried to steal our water heater breaking it in the process.

Then our oven broke.

Then our food stamps got cancelled for no reason.

Then as I was recovering from the damage in my left foot, I injured my right foot.

Then I got covid when I went to do some grocery shopping using money that should be for rent and bills for that since we still haven’t been able to get the food stamps reinstated.

THEN OUR GAS HEATER BROKE!

Then we had a massive windstorm unlike anything we’ve seen here before that destroyed our shed and damaged a lot of stuff we had in there.

During which my back was injured due to the doors coming loose while I was trying to get stuff out and had them slam into my back with the force of 70+ mph winds.

Those winds also ripped the door of our recently fixed water heater alcove and I don’t know if the repairs we had done held up during it, WHICH BROKE THAT AGAIN!  As did apparent;y the water softener.

My bank account is pretty much empty.

Most recently the shower and the kitchen sink broke.

And my disability was denied because of me missing a doctors appointment I WASN'T EVEN MADE AWARE I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO.

We have been without hot water since November. And because of all the stuff we keep having to deal with we haven’t been able to pay the rent since November and because of that you can’t pay a little at a time and compounding late fees, even after we got the stimulus checks because those got burned up quickly because of other bills.

We now need about $5000 for rent before the end of June because we can’t pay rent unless we pay it all, the late fees keep compounding because they won’t let us just pay the rent alone unless we pay the late fees as well.  They claim they have a program called the hardship program but that only helps people who get paid every other week, but you can only get on it if you agree to also pay all the back rent.  And they have also begun harassing us with phone calls three times a day.  Including HARASSING MY MOTHER WHO IS RECOVERING FROM A STROKE!

I have reached wits end and don’t know what to do.  I desperately need help.  Please...
