Our precious Meher Niger Trina, a brave and wonderful 31-year-old woman from Bangladesh, has been living with chronic kidney disease since 2012.

For a long time, her renal function is unstable. Now, it is resulting in the last stages. Despite all her struggles, she navigated this condition with incredible resilience and a bright smile that lights up the room. But she knows time is now running out.

Recently, her health has taken a devastating turn. Her eGFR is 6.03 as of September 2025. The brachiocephalic fistula was done via the supraclavicular lymph nodes on 30.07.2025. However, she is facing end-stage renal failure and urgently needs a kidney transplant to save her life and to offer her a chance at a healthy future.

Trina has so much life ahead of her. She completed her education from Dhaka University. Thus far, she has managed her treatment cost by doing private tuition. She has been studying hard after receiving her master's degree to get a government job. She also faces the pressure of living costs, medicine costs, treatment costs, and the pressure of her younger brother’s education cost as it is difficult for her single mother. Everyone applauds the tenacity about her, but no one comes forward to help financially. She feels she failed to fulfill her dreams of helping her brother because of her dangerous disease. We want Trina to live her life to the fullest, without feeling unwell, and being able to spend more time at home with her family.

Sadly, her failing kidney, a direct consequence of this medical incident, is making everyday life a significant struggle.

We have created this campaign to raise a total of $55,000 to help ease the financial strain of Trina’s urgent kidney transplant.

After her kidney transplant, it will cost $19,500 and about $2,000 on medications monthly thereafter.
