The Comic Book shop Galaxy Comics was force to shutter when the coronavirus hit for 2 to 3 months and didn't open until like late May. The store is a mom and pop comic book shop in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and the only true surviving one. It owes rent around $28,000 dollars in back rent and it can't afford to pay. Also we sold candy too and soft drinks . it has a lovely kitty. And it barely making ends meet and It sits next to a movie theater. I hate to see it go. I one the frequent people there since it opened in the early 2000's and have worked there a few times to help out. it would be grateful for all the help it can get. any amount is greatly appreciated the cat is the mascot of the store!
