I was recently hospitalized for an emergency surgery in Dayton, Ohio, and spent 5 days inpatient. I have no FMLA with my current job and no PTO to use until October 30th of this year. My insurance deductible is $9,100. Needless to say, my insurance isn’t the best, and I’ll be out of work for upwards of 3 weeks, hopefully less. I have no savings and live paycheck to paycheck. I attend school part-time and need to keep my GPA up to receive financial aid, so this hospital stay is throwing a wrench in things as well. Please help in any way you can. Me and the kids would greatly appreciate it. I need to heal and try not to stress. Prayers of healing are always accepted. It took a push from my eldest to even create this and a nudge from a person I’m sure would like to remain anonymous as her “eyes may leak” knowing I’m getting mushy about things. It’s been a rough couple of years and I understand times are tough on everyone right now considering the state of the economy, much more the world.
