NEED HELP Remodel Sac Highs Locker Room

Hello Friends Family and fellow Dragons,

Sacramento High School is THE OLDEST high school in Sacramento, and second oldest high school west of the Mississippi River. One of the first schools ever built, and If you walk around the campus you will see it first hand. The facilities are old and outdated.

Division 1 athletes, scholarship athletes, championship athletes playing with subpar facilities. Just take a look at the football field, it’s one of the worst fields in all of Sacramento.

The community has rallied around the football team and efforts are being made to revamp the field. We are asking to do the same with the boys locker room. 

The men’s locker room has not been renovated or updated for at least 30 years. The equipment old and rusted, the showers dirty and unusable, the lockers themselves…. broken. Nothing fitting for a champion.

Despite the odds, despite the poor conditions the 2022-2023 Sac High Men’s Basketball team won the Sac Joaquin Section Championship at the Golden 1 Arena. The schools 8th title. 

Heaters not working, TV broken, busted windows which blow in freezing cold air, old rotting benches, these boys never complained and never wavered. They are not asking for anything but they deserve it all.

The coaches are coming together and asking for help. Pulling on the alumni and community to

come together and reward these hard working young men. We want to celebrate and honor the amazing history of the Sac High Men’s basketball team. Dating back to Kevin Johnson, Bryan Mitchell, Derek Swafford and all the amazing players that came through Sac High. 

This locker room is not fitting for champions. Not fitting for Dragons…Please help, donate, Re-post, share, or tell a friend. Anything you do can help and we appreciate all the support we can get.
