This is for my father who has been tested positive for Coronavirus in Bangladesh. He is in the ICU and is in a very critical condition. His oxygen level keeps on dropping and right now he is on high flow nasal cannula. Even with that his oxygen level is between 90 to 92. The doctors are telling us that they might need to put him in life support.
Right now he is fighting for his life in Square Hospital which is situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Everyday, the average bill in the ICU ranges from BDT 125,000 ($1475) to BDT 150,000 ($1770). That includes the cost of the oxygen that is barely keeping him alive. He has been in the ICU for 3 days and in three days his bill is around BDT 375,000 ($4425). I have attached a copy of the bill in these three days. If they have to out him life support, the average bill will double per day which means it will be roughly $3000 per day.
