Hi, my name is Vishal singla, i am from punjab, india, currently residing in Edmonton, Canada.

I came to canada on spouse open work permit, and i never had more than six months permit, so everytime when i go to registry they tell me, i cannot have health card as i don't meet the minimum duration of work permit policy.

I am living here with my wife and two small kids, 1year and 5 year old. And there’s just one earning person in the house, with which we hardly manage to run our monthly expenses.

My main concern to create this account is that two days back on 26th of February. Me and my wife was doing the moving while I was carrying a box at coming out of my house on the first step. There was a solid snow on which I got slipped and broke my leg very badly that after coming to the hospital, I came to know that it needs a surgery and it’s been three days now I am admitted at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton and waiting for surgery to happen, but the hospital gave me an estimate of $20000-$25,000 which I have to pay out of my pocket as I do not have health coverage or any kind of insurance.

I have already asked my parents, my family friends, and whoever I could ask to for financial help and they all are trying to do their best but still the amount is high so I am creating this account so I could have more financial help.

So I would humbly request whatever ever anybody could do it to be appreciated and I am being really thankful to everyone.
