Need funds to fight Aggressive CANCER by 8yo kid of mine.

Hi, I am Mansi and my son is a Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma patient in BC Children’s hospital ,Vancouver.

He was diagnosed in Nov 23 and in May 24 had undergone Bone Marrow Transplant.Quickly after the transplant he got critical and was in ICU for 10days.My boy is a fighter so he survived those critical days and continue to fight with his illness.

We are family of four with 2 kids , my husband, myself and a dog.

I left my job when he was diagnosed and my husband sold his business last year so that we both can take care of him and let him recover soon.My son has come so far in his treatment but still fighting with new health challenges with Kidneys- TMA which is rare problem and on special treatment medication which strictly under Government control.

He is also facing Graft Vs Host Disease with problem in multiple parts of his body.

We are fortunate that he is home but still not able to go to school as he is on immunity suppressant meds.

We have so much hospital runs every other day for biopsies, scan, checkup etc that we still can’t start my work yet.‍

Running a household in such emotionally and financially unwell situation is getting real hard for us and also looking for some kids activity or extra curricular classes etc that he can enjoy and helps in his mental and physical recovery.

We will use this money just to help Dhruv to enrol in some physical activities suitable for kids and his special physiotherapy sessions.

He also needs some additional help with his studies so we can use this money in investing for a home tutor.He also wishes to see Niagara falls, if possible we can manage a small budget trip for our family to the falls.

His is on ongoing treatment and doesn’t know when he’ll be able to live a normal kids life.Suddenly his life has changed overnight and the same world has become little different for him from past 1year.

He loves to travel, play basketball ,video games and loves animals.Likes to sing and paint.I want him to get his stamina, energy and self confidence back so he is out of his illness trauma and looks forward to his future and has speedy recovery.
