Need Car to be a Dad

I made mistakes and ruined my career and my health.  I've done a pretty good job of not causing any more grief.  I have been self-supporting and sober for 6 years.  I got a $3000 loan recently  and bought a car.  It threw a rod and is now a total loss.  I don't mind walking, although I miss things like beach days.  What is really hard is that I don't see my daughter much because of transportation.  I also don't see my mother, and she is old.  I hate asking for any help; I'm hoping you will think of it as helping my kid and my mom.  I have to continue making payments for ten months before I can ever get a car loan again.  I hope to raise $2000 so that I can buy a car and be a bigger part of my mom and daughters life.  Thank you
