Need Medical Care COBRA ended

I have felt so ill I had to stop working at the job I love. Supporting addicts find recovery. I tried just working part time but still couldn’t do it. Now just as I was about to begin comprehensive cancer screening at Mayo Clinic the COBRA health insurance coverage I had ends on 10/31. 

I am feeling very scared financially and if I can’t get the diagnosis and treatment I need

I have spent my life caring for preschoolers, young adults with mental health issues, and working with alcoholics and addicts find a way to a new way of life. I’ve been on the frontline of the heroin epidemic the last 8 years and lost many beautiful young people but have had lots of folks stay clean. I want to continue this work but need to get the Medical Care I need to be able to feel better. I have been feeling like I’m dying the last few months which is why I need all this cancer screening since everyone in my family has had cancer and parents died from it. I had breast cancer 5 years ago and am afraid it has spread even though I had the surgery and radiation treatment. I pray I don’t have to go through that again but the earlier cancer is found the better chance to survive
