Hi, My name is Mitchell. Recently, my disabilities have gotten exponentially worse. As a result, the strength and fatigue in all of my voluntary muscles (hands, arms, legs, and feet). I was recently evaluated in the hospital by physical therapy, and by physical therapy and occupational therapists in my home. I was told that I needed a wheelchair, and one has been ordered for me. I likely have MS, according to my recent MRI of my brain. I have an appointment to see an MS specialist with the University of South Florida medical center, in Tampa, on December 8th, 2022.

Unfortunately, our crossover (a 2019 Mazda CX-9) will not accommodate my wheelchair inside, and the wheelchair is too heavy to put on a lift on the back of the vehicle. We did some measuring and some research. What we need to be able to get me around, is a minivan. A trade in of our car will take care of a lot of the balance due for the van, but not all of it. I am starting this fundraiser to cover the rest, as we cannot afford a car payment and have too many other medical bills that are preventing us from being able to handle this on our own.

I feel very guilty about asking anyone for help with anything. But, I know that this is something that my wife and I simply can't handle ourselves.
