Since the age of 18 I’ve usually maintained independence as a working person and only on rare occasion has ever asked for financial assistance from anyone. I was laid off from my last job in October 2019 and finding stable employment has been a challenge, especially after the pandemic took over the world. The decisions every month of how to pay rent, pay for food, pay a cell phone bill or pay for medications has become real. State unemployment for me is only $1800 per month. Average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in California is $2100 and my rent is actually more than this.
 
The money you donate will keep my head above water by helping me and my daughter Mariah to relocate to Kansas City, which is affordable long term and manageable while unemployed. I am optimistic that I will find work as an accountant in the Kansas City Metro area. Your financial support will cover my relocation costs and establish an affordable apartment to live in. I am generous at heart and will pay-it-forward over time to support others once I am financially stable.
