Melissa Stablein needs our help!

Hello my name is Melissa Stablein! Two days after I was married I found myself in the ER. A few days later I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. I had my left kidney removed and recovering has been difficult. In 2020 we found out it has metastasized to varies parts of my torso so I am stage 4-kidney cancer and still fighting. I almost died from infection immediately after my original surgery and I have since been hospitalized 6 times related to cancer and my treatment.

I am writing this from a hospital bed that I have been in for the last few days. My remaining kidney has an infection and we are trying to find the right course of treatment. So here I sit, humbling myself again and asking for help.

Each time this gets a little harder but I have few alternatives. It is about $10,000 in medical bills a year and another $8,000 for my medical travel and so on. So I am going to keep fund raising because I am on disability and things are hard to cover. It is with everyone’s help I have made it this far. I can never thank you enough for all you have done.

June is my birthday month so I am hoping this reaches a lot of people and I can get coverage for this year and half of next. Love you all.
