I have been overweight most all my life, which stems from years of sexual abuse and tragic events in my life, my mom died tragically when I was 13 then my guardian my beloved granny died when I was 17. I've moved over 2500 miles in the last 4 years for my husbands dream. He has achevied his.

I've tried every diet, product, fancy pill there is...nothing has brought me to a place where I can have continued sucess. I have chosen to have gastric bypass. I have spent many hours in the last few months with my surgeon ( he is amazing)discussing the risk and the benefits. I'm willing to accept the risk. If it means I can live a healthier life.

I have been very quiet about my health (which is not like me) I am ashamed and embrassed, I weigh over 400lbs and I have over 200lbs to lose. I wear a size 30 pants. I have , in the last few months been diagnosed with sleep apnea and diabetes. I need this surgery. Luckily My insurance pays a lot of the surgery, but I have out of pocket I can't come up with. I have already spent over 1000 in the pre op test and new medications. I'm asking for help to be able to miss work with out getting behind on bills while I recover(still have to pay daycare and rent) and to pay my portion of the co insurance through insurance.

I am asking for assistance so I can live a longer , active, healthier life.

My goal is to ride a roller coaster with Nora, my beautiful 6 year old daughter. Riding a coaster is something I have never done because I never fit.

I've been married to my husband for 10 years this year. We lost a baby in 2013. I have fought my way out of the dark holes. Now its time to do something for myself. With the help of my friends and family, I know I'll make it.
