Hope for Luna

Yesterday (May 10) Luna was in a horrific accident. While on a walk with my mom and my Aunt, she was hit by a car and suffered critical injuries. She was rushed to an emergency vet in Brampton and then later rushed to the OVC (Ontario Veterinary College) in Guelph where she is being treated for multiple head fractures and a neck fracture. She suffered a great amount of pain but we couldn't be more thankful that she is in best possible hands. She is a young, strong, resilient girl and she is currently fighting for her life. We will do anything we possibly can to keep her here with us for as long as possible but in order to do this we need to keep her at OVC until her condition gets better. There are still a lot of unknowns in her case but she has been stable and she has a fighting chance to come through this and live a happy and healthy life. For anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Luna, you know that she is the most lovable, friendly, and playful dog and she has so much love to give. Unfortunately, keeping her at OVC is extremely expensive and we set up this GoFundMe page in order to keep up with these expenses.
