Help with medical expenses

I am fundraising for assistance with medical expenses and the financial burden I am experiencing from being out of work since January. As most of my family members know I am having complications due to being diagnosed with necrotizing pneumonia. After a few treatment options have failed to help, I now have to undergo Thoracic surgery. Long story short my right lung is surrounded by inflammatory fluid which is causing my lung to not be able to inflate all the way. It is currently at half capacity of a normal lung. The hope is to remove the fluid and any other substances to allow my lung to be able to inflate to full capacity. I am a disabled USMC veteran and live in SC with my beautiful wife and 7 year old daughter. I am currently employed by the US Government, however, I've been out of work since January.  Unfortunately, being a government employee there are limited options if you are sick for long periods of time. At this time, I have used all my sick and vacation time and am relying on leave donations from fellow government employees. Unfortunately, the leave donations I have currently received is not enough to cover all the time I have used. I am currently on leave without pay and my next payday will be nothing. This will cause problems with my health insurance, doctor bills, mortgage, and other financial responsibilities.
