Neck Cancer Survivor Chemo and Radiation Therapy

My friend Blake Duncan is a nose-to-the-grindstone hard-worker, but unfortunately, he was let go by his employer after finding out he had Head & Neck Cancer. Blake is a Grandpa, and cares for his family including a young-adult stepdaughter with a Developmental Disability.  Blake is determined to recover and return to work as soon as he is physically able.  I admire that kind of grit.  I have known Blake now for forty-four (44) years and I am behind him 10,000%  Please help if only a small donation and/or share.

 

In Blake's own words:

 

"I have an aggressive form of cancer called head and neck cancer. I've already started both targeted radiation and chemotherapy treatments. My radiation therapy is daily and the chemo is one time each week. I've already had a medical port installed. Next week I will be getting a feeding port on Friday.

 

My employer let me go when my radiation oncologist sent a letter explaining I will be disabled and quite sick.

 

I live with my girlfriend Donna and our 25-year-old daughter Elaina who has down syndrome we have eight more kids between us but most of them have already left the nest. Our three-person family needs me Elaina needs me. I was the primary income earner. Sadly we pretty much lee live payday to payday.  Now no longer having this job things are going to be very difficult for us."

 

Blake just needs this help during his treatments and he is adamant concerning his return to work.
