Support Anna's Family in Their Time of Loss

Donation protected
During the morning hours of February 13, 2025, Anna Harriet Griffin (formerly Anna Harriet Wyckoff) gained her heavenly wings and was called home to walk with God. Anna passed away peacefully in her West Virginia home located in a small town called Morgantown. She is survived by her immediate family which includes her siblings, her two daughters, Nila Harris and Sarah Griffin, as well as her grandchildren.

Although from West Virginia, Anna spent a majority of her life residing in Indiana to be close to her two children. Over the many years, she would form an abundance of friendships there and come to know some of her most cherished and valued people in her life. Several months prior to her passing, she would ultimately end up moving back to her home state after a sudden rapid decline in her health.

Anna loved to play guitar and sing, go for nature walks with her dog, cook for her loved ones, and most of all, spend time with her family and friends. She had a vibrant smile, shared a contagious laughter, and had a heart for both children and animals, often taking care of stray cats in the neighborhood. Anna was also a huge fan of musicians like Joan Jett and Tori Amos and could usually be found rocking out or singing karaoke with her friends. Just like any other grandparent, her biggest pride of all were her precious grandchildren she leaves behind.

There are not enough words to describe this woman. Anna was stubborn at times but also incredibly thoughtful and resilient. She always had an incredible sense of humor, and even during her final stages of life, Anna never lost hope that she would eventually get better for her kids and her loved ones. If she were still here today, she would want everyone to find comfort in her final rest in eternal peace. While she may have been flawed just as anyone else, Anna did her best to care for those around her even during her final moments. There is no doubt about that.

We believe that Anna’s legacy should be honored with a proper burial and celebration of life. Unfortunately, Anna did not have a life insurance policy or enough funds saved up to cover the cost of these services at the time of her passing. Her family, still mourning and grieving their recent loss, is coming together to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time, as her untimely death unfortunately leaves behind a heavy financial burden. Every dollar makes a difference. If you are not in the position to donate at this very moment, we ask that you please share her story.

Thank you for the continued support and condolences right now, as it means a lot to those she leaves behind.
