My name is Alex Miranda and I am trying to raise money to help fund my Eye Surgery. This will prevent me from potentially going blind and having a lazy eye. Some friends and I were on west 6th street, we had some jewelry on and this group of 8 tried starting issues. We walked away, spent the evening in the clubs. The bars just had closed, We were coming out of a bar, This white van pulled up on us and 8 dudes jumped out and just began to jump me and snatched my chains off. I tried fighting as best I could but their were to many on me. They ended up knocking me out and continued to bash my head in with kicks and punches after I was already unconscious. They broke the eye bone and tore the eye muscle that hold my eye in place, Also had a big gash on the side of my head that needed stables i lost a good bit of blood. Surgery and medical care at hospital is estimated to be over 100k. We definitely filed a report with the police and they said if excepted they can cover up to $70,000 of the medical bills with the crime victims compensation program thru the hospital. I don’t have a # or goal in mind just anything will definitely help 100%. All funds will be allocated for any remainder of medical bills I am left with. I didn’t happen to have any insurance also. Thank you all and keep me in your prayers. I am in the hospital at Dell Seton medical center, I was taken by ambulance Sunday night and hope to be discharged Thursday having surgery Wednesday! Surgery had to be preformed asap they are waiting on swelling to go down a bit and waiting for the special cranial plastic surgeon. I am in need of a implant to hold my eye bone together so my eyeball does not fall farther into the socket. Updates will be given
