Muchas gracias.
-----------
Alejandra was a 31-year-old young woman, joyful and deeply loved by everyone.
Like any first-time mother, she and her family were filled with excitement about welcoming her baby, and her pregnancy progressed very well—until the day labor began.

Exactly one year and eight months ago, on what should have been one of the happiest days of Ale’s life and her family’s, everything changed.
During her cesarean section, Ale suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, apparently due to medical malpractice. This caused hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, leaving her with severe, life-altering consequences.

Ale now experiences spasticity in all four limbs, a significantly reduced level of consciousness and alertness, and an inability to speak or feed herself. She remains confined to a hospital bed at all times, making the constant care provided by her nurses absolutely essential to her well-being.

Since then, Ale has continued to fight every single day, showing very slow progress, driven by her love for her son, Santiago.

Her mother, affectionately known as “Maestra Cuquita” in the kindergartens of the Puente de Ixtla area, has taken on all of Ale’s care and medical expenses on her own.
The emotional and financial burden has been overwhelming, and today her last resources are being exhausted.

Around-the-clock nursing care, physical therapy, medical supplies, and transportation costs far exceed what this family can afford, placing them under immense financial strain.

That is why we have created this page: to ask for your help, so this family may see a ray of light at the end of the tunnel.
Every contribution, no matter how small, makes an enormous difference. Your support directly improves Alejandra’s quality of life and helps ease the daily burden her mother carries. Let us help give hope to her son Santiago, so that one day he may feel his mother’s embrace.

Thank you for taking the time to read, share, or contribute. Your solidarity has the power to transform this story.
There are no donations that are too big or too small—by sharing, you help more people learn about Alejandra’s story.

Thank you very much.
