Help a Family in need Necesitamos ayuda para gastos medicos

 Hola, mi nombre es Víctor. El motivo de esta recaudación de dinero es para mi hermano Mario Vargas, quien desafortunadamente fue detenido por ICE (Inmigración) el 24 de mayo. Dos semanas después, contrajo una infección dentro de la cárcel y no recibió atención médica adecuada debido a su situación. Cuando pedía ayuda, lo castigaban con dos días sin salir de la celda. Como consecuencia de no recibir tratamiento, la infección se extendió a los pulmones. El 18 de junio, fue llevado al hospital Piedmont en Columbus, Georgia, donde estuvo dos semanas en coma. Los funcionarios de inmigración nos informaron que debíamos ir por él al hospital y que solo lo liberarían con deportación voluntaria, pero alguien tenía que asumir la responsabilidad de cuidarlo. Afortunadamente, despertó del coma el 2 de julio, pero lamentablemente tenía daños graves en los pulmones. Le tuvieron que extirpar un pulmón y el otro está en tratamiento. Desafortunadamente, el hospital ya no quiso atenderlo debido a la falta de seguro y a que nadie podía pagar su cuenta. El 7 de julio, lo sacaron del hospital, pero todavía necesita mucha ayuda médica y oxígeno para el resto de su vida. Además, no puede trabajar por ahora y necesitará apoyo durante los próximos cuatro meses que estará aquí. Por eso, estamos pidiendo ayuda. Cualquier contribución que puedan hacer será muy apreciada. Mi hermano y yo no tenemos más familia, así que estamos agradecidos por cualquier apoyo que puedan ofrecernos. 

Hello my name is Victor the reason for this fundraising campaign is for my brother who unfortunately was caught by ICE (immigration) on May 24th which two weeks later he got an infection inside the jail and they did not give him medical attention for the problem he was suffering with the infection when he asked for help they punished him for 2 days without leaving the cell as a result of not checking him the infection spread to his lungs until the 18th when he was taken to Piedmont Hospital in Columbus Ga. He was there for 2 weeks in a coma the immigration people told us that we had to go to the hospital for him they would only let him out with voluntary deportation but someone had to take responsibility for him well he woke up on July 2 from a coma unfortunately his lungs were damaged they had to remove one lung and the other is in treatment in the hospital they did not want to treat him anymore because he did not have insurance or anyone to pay his bill so on July 7th They took him out of the hospital but he still needs a lot of help with doctors and his oxygen. He is also unable to work in these 4 months that he has to be here. That is why we are asking for help. Anyone who wants to help us will be very grateful to all of you. Here we are just my brother and I, we have no other family.
