Queridos amigos y familiares,

Les escribo con un nudo en la garganta y un corazón lleno de preocupación por mi querida hermana Jennifer, mejor conocida como Fefe. Hace un mes, el 8 de marzo de 2023, sufrió un ACV (ictus) que la ha dejado luchando por su vida. Ahora se encuentra en Panamá, donde vive sola con su hijo Gustavito de 11 años.

Fefe es una guerrera, una luchadora incansable que ha enfrentado muchos desafíos en su vida con una sonrisa en el rostro y una fuerza interior que inspira a todos los que la conocen. Pero esta vez, su cuerpo no ha sido capaz de resistir tanto y necesita de nuestra ayuda y lamentablemente no tiene Familia directa en Panama.

Los gastos relacionados con su recuperación (fisioterapia, medicina, colchón especial, entre otros) son muy elevados y aunque estamos haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarla, desafortunadamente no es suficiente para cubrirlos todos. Además, en Panamá no existe una ayuda social generosa como en Europa y tiene que cubrir el paso mensual de alquiler, comida, servicios, etc... lo que hace que la situación sea aún más difícil.

Por esta razón, les pido humildemente su ayuda. Si pueden hacer una donación a nuestra campaña, les aseguro que será de gran ayuda para Fefe y su hijo Gustavito. Cualquier pequeña contribución es muy valiosa y significará una gran diferencia en su recuperación.

Les pido también que compartan esta campaña con sus amigos y familiares, y cualquier otra persona que pueda estar interesada en ayudar. La vida de Fefe depende de la solidaridad y generosidad de los demás, y estamos seguros de que juntos podemos ayudarla a superar este difícil momento.

I am writing to you with a lump in my throat and a heart full of concern for my dear sister Jennifer, better known as Fefe. One month ago, on March 8th, 2023, she suffered a stroke that left her fighting for her life. She is now in Panama, where she lives alone with her 11-year-old son Gustavito.

Fefe is a warrior, a tireless fighter who has faced many challenges in her life with a smile on her face and an inner strength that inspires everyone who knows her. But this time, her body has not been able to withstand so much and she needs our help. Unfortunately, she does not have direct family in Panama.

The expenses related to her recovery (such as physiotherapy, medicine, special mattress, among others) are very high and although we are doing everything possible to help her, unfortunately, it is not enough to cover them all. In addition, in Panama, there is no generous social assistance as in Europe and she has to cover the monthly expenses of rent, food, services, etc... which makes the situation even more difficult.

For this reason, I humbly ask for your help. If you can donate to our campaign, I assure you that it will be of great help to Fefe and her son Gustavito. Any small contribution is very valuable and will make a big difference in her recovery.

Beste vrienden en familie,

Ik schrijf jullie met een brok in mijn keel en een bezorgd hart voor mijn dierbare zus Jennifer, beter bekend als Fefe. Een maand geleden, op 8 maart 2023, heeft ze een beroerte gehad, waardoor zij nu vecht voor haar leven. Ze bevindt zich nu in Panama, waar ze alleen woont met haar 11-jarige zoon Gustavito.

Fefe is een krijger, een onvermoeibare vechter die veel uitdagingen in haar leven heeft overwonnen met een glimlach op haar gezicht en een innerlijke kracht die iedereen die haar kent inspireert. Maar deze keer kon haar lichaam niet zoveel weerstand bieden en heeft ze onze hulp nodig, helaas heeft ze geen directe familie in Panama.

De kosten die verband houden met haar herstel (zoals fysiotherapie, medicijnen, speciaal matras, onder andere) zijn erg hoog en hoewel we ons best doen om haar te helpen, is het helaas niet genoeg om alles te dekken. Bovendien bestaat er in Panama geen royale sociale bijstand zoals in Europa en moet ze de maandelijkse kosten van huur, eten, diensten, enz. dekken... wat de situatie nog moeilijker maakt.
