Nearly died of the heat,I need a air conditioner

My name is Bill Cooke, I’m spending 90% of my time in a very small studio in Richmond Australia with my cat Stipples. I’m an artist but the last year or so my diabetic neuropathy has me unable to stand so ever since the big COVID scare I just sit in my studio. You who know me for a long time, I’m on social media quite a lot.

Summer in Australia can get ferociously hot as I found out two days ago. I cannot afford an air conditioner, I live in public housing. My income is Social Security which covers food and rent, the rental studio is very small, and I stay cool by two fans. Until the severe heat comes. Which it did and I went into very low blood sugar hypo. I almost died. These fans don’t cool the room enough and I suffer.

Yesterday it hit 42C or 110F with high humidity and I sat thru hours of it.gave my cat ice water, went to the mall for respite. But I really need to buy an air conditioner. Emergency! I’m asking for funds to get a decent one, if I raise enough I can get a good revers cycle one. I thank you most sincerely for your help. Every bit helps.
